The group concurred on writing about cinema for two distinct reasons – all four of the group members have an avid interest in films and crucially the UK is the largest English film industry in Europe as well as the largest market for Hollywood in the continent. It’s also trendsetter in terms of business ventures for the continent.
What is 70mmframe?
The ‘70mmframe’ was chosen as our title because of its reference to cinematic film reel size. A standard film reel is 35mm wide and we felt that ‘the70mmframe’ would suit our wide coverage of the UK film industry.
